Restorative Dentistry

Creating a healthier smile means eliminating tooth decay and repairing teeth that have been damaged due to oral infections or trauma. Everyone’s smile story is different, and so are our restorative services. Our skilled team our and access to dental technology allows us to offer many treatments that are not available in a traditional dental practice. We truly believe that making modest investments in this technology allows us to better serve our patients and provide the one-on-one dental care that you expect.

Our restorative treatments are designed to:

  • Use a minimally invasive approach
  • Preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible
  • Replace missing teeth and prevent common complications caused by tooth loss
  • Offer same-day dental care to our patients
  • Use a whole-smile, whole-health approach
  • Ensure patient comfort

We rebuild smiles one tooth at a time with some of the following techniques:

White Fillings

Tooth-coloured composite fillings not only look beautiful, they also require less tooth preparation. The material can be placed on any tooth surface, making it easier to restore smaller or irregular lesions of the teeth. We colour-match every white filling so that it blends in with your tooth enamel, both repairing the tooth and improving how it looks.

CEREC Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are unique restorations that preserve badly damaged teeth that do not yet require a full-coverage crown. Our in-house CEREC technology allows us to complete this treatment in just one appointment, rather than sending an impression off to a dental lab and waiting two weeks for the final restoration to arrive.

Crowns and Bridges

Full-coverage crowns help extend the life of severely compromised teeth or teeth that have been treated endodontically. We use CEREC technology, which allows you to have your entire crown treatment completed in one sitting. If you’ve lost a tooth, our multiple-tooth dental bridges can be placed in the area of concern, replacing one or two missing teeth at a time. All of our crown and bridgework is colour-matched to your smile for a functional yet aesthetic result.

Partial and Full Dentures

Removable dentures and partial dentures are convenient ways to replace many missing teeth at one time. We work with a neighbourhood denturist to provide custom-made denture prosthetics for our patients. You’ll never have to leave the office!

Dental Implants

We’re proud to provide start-to-finish dental implant therapy for our patients. We’ve invested in Tomogram technology that allows us to perform implant placement for the purpose of supporting restorations like crowns, bridges, and All-on-4 implant-supported dentures. Dental implants are just like having a real tooth. These stand-alone restorations preserve your smile, boost self-confidence, and provide long-term results.

Root Canals

Sometimes the nerve inside of a tooth can become damaged or infected so that the tooth is no longer vital. This can cause the tooth to disintegrate and become discoloured. By removing the infected nerve tissue and filling the inside of the nerve chamber, we can preserve your tooth for several more years. We offer endodontic therapy on all teeth, and do not refer patients out to a specialist for treatment. Our Zeiss microscope makes treatment predictable, reliable, and more comfortable for each of our patients.

Oral Surgery

We offer in-house extraction services including wisdom and impacted teeth. If you’re in need of an extraction, you can select from one of our convenient sedation options to help ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. The type of surgery and extraction will depend on your smile, so we invite you to set up an exam with us to discuss treatment options.
